Poor Customer Service, this company has been nothing but fake. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went with this moving company because talking to Michael and Noah at the beginning was smooth and had good communication at the start.

I had a move scheduled and received a quote of $1747.68 and paid a deposit of $647. The movers showed up 2 days earlier, only gave 2 hours’ notice. Showing up days early caused me to not have everything packed correctly and I went over 150 cubic feet. I said I was fine paying for the difference. I paid the driver at pick up $1419.98. My things were picked up on 12/12/2024.

As of 01/09/2025 I still do not have my things and now am being told my final cost is more. One person stated my final cost is $3276 – saying because I went over. I don’t understand how adding 150 cubic feet doubles the price. I was told by a different person my total is $2925.00, I was told by a third person my total is $2192.68 (RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY CONFIRMS THIS). The company sent a new contract today stating the deposit I paid does not go towards the “final cost”.

A driver called on 1/8/25 stating I owe $1400. After multiple calls I am now being told I owe $733 because they do not count the deposit towards final payment.

This company is such a SCAM and very unprofessional. They just give different numbers and different names for any issues, or they just hang up. When I first wrote this review someone reached out to me and asked me to remove it as it hurts business, they clearly do not want people knowing how horrible this company is.

Based off the response to my review and speaking with Mo, my total is $2192. It was not stated anywhere this is the total AFTER a deposit is made. Things finally for delivered after 30 days. Driver left before I can sign anything. Multiple things missing and broken.

Run from this company. Bait and switch. Unprofessional. Will double your moving costs and hold your belongings hostage. Will be looking to network with others that have been scammed by Ahmed, Mahmed and Mike from New Jersey. Movingandrelo, Flashmovers, A&M, Rapid Vanlines. Why so many names??? I would rather chew off my left foot than to watch someone give them a dime of their hard earned money. Feel free to contact me and network. I fully believe a class action lawsuit is in order. I’ll be reaching out to attorneys and others that have been taken advantage of by these pieces of sh*t as soon as times allows. AHMED AND MOE… I WILL FOLLOW THROUGH WITH MY PROMISE TO TAKE YOU DOWN FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME AND MY WIFE. FRAUD ACROSS STATE LINES IS A FELONY AND I’M GOING TO MAKE SURE YOU PAY!!!

Worst moving experience I’ve ever had. I was quoted to need only 400 Cu Ft for my 2 bed, 2 bath Apt after going through each item over the phone and giving their appropriate measurements to be thorough. I ended up taking up around 1200 Cu Ft, or so they say, more than tripling my quote amount! Not only did they horribly quote me, they contract other companies to do the job and when I was told to Zelle a different company, no one could verify the validity of it for me and my payment ended up being “late”, therefore delaying my shipment from TX to UT by almost a full week past the promised date.

Almost all my large items were damaged or scuffed in the move, showing they didn’t care for my belongings at all. My 4pc wardrobes were all damaged, 75” TV cracked, dining table scuffed, end table had some deep scratches on the top, and coffee table legs were bent. It was quite difficult to contact them too because they kept saying “you’ll have to contact my boss” and gave me numbers where no one would answer.

The delivery was by a completely different company too and they had plenty of items that didn’t belong to me that would have been dropped off if I wasn’t there to sort through the items. Someone obviously lost a lot of stuff in their move and I had some missing items as well. I wish I did a lot more research before accepting the move with Flash Move “Experts”. Save your time and money by being more diligent with researching your moving company.

They are the WORST moving company ever. SCAM SCAM SCAM. When we did the initial call, we sent them measurements of EVERYTHING to make sure we had the most accurate estimate. When the day came, they said it would not fit and that it was cost DOUBLE the original quote. Plus there were HIDDEN FEES! If they knew we were in an apt, why would they not tell us ahead of time there was going to be a distance fee and elevator fee?? They were basically almost done loading it up so we had to say yes. Then, they said it would arrive by Sunday the latest. We hear nothing from them. We were constantly calling and texting to see where everything was. Sunday comes, nada. Nothing. It didn’t come till Thursday!! Then, when they were finished unloading everything, we notice stuff are broken, scratched. Items were missing. We had someone else’s box. Our freaking TV. BROKEN. Then we want to file a claim and they don’t tell us how to do it and we try following up many times and they suck at responding. Please. Listing to my review. Save yourself the sanity and headache. Pay a little more for the well known companies.

I was relocating from Dallas, TX to Chelsea, AL and after speaking to an agent from A&M Moving Service I had a sense of confidence in that I have selected the right company. WRONG, from when the crew arrived to back, load an transport my furniture everything went from bad to worse. From the way that the breakables were wrapped and packed to the loading and offloading they had no respect for my stuff. I have had more breakages in a short haul move like this than what I had moving internationally. If A&M Moving Services was the last moving company on earth I would much rather go through the pain and do it myself.

I used them for my move from CT to IN; I have a small 2 bedroom apartment, no appliances.

• They operate as a broker (don’t believe their responses to reviews). We worked with Henry from Moving and Relo LLC to set everything up, who promptly ghosted us the night before the move (Feb 16). As of today’s date (March 20), he has not responded to any emails or phone calls.

• At 6 pm the night before the move (Feb 16), they emailed us to tell us we were moved to a different day. After several frantic phone calls and emails, we were rescheduled for the correct date around 8:30 pm (they tell you they put two dates on the estimate because they are required to have a backup date, but assured us we were definitely scheduled for the 17th – that’s how they get away with this).

• We gave a detailed inventory list, including a video inventory (I just moved 11 months ago, so I still have all my info from the last move). Upon arrival, Ahmed doubled the cost and refused to load until we signed a new bill of lading. I only agreed to sign for the original amount, which he then changed after I signed and added additional charges that were not on the estimate and not on the original bill of lading that I signed. This is how they corner you; they give a low estimate, require a large non-refundable deposit, then double the charge upon arrival, and you are stuck. We are being charged almost $10,000 to move my tiny apartment that doesn't fill a 26’ truck. We were told we had 1800 cu ft of goods, but upon research discovered the 26' truck they used has a max space of 1700 cu ft, so they intentionally lied to get more money.

• They refused to take a check during pickup (Henry told us this was one of the accepted methods of payments) and insisted on Venmo. I was not given the Venmo account to pay at that time, and was told it would be sent to me. Almost a week later, Ahmed gave me his PERSONAL Venmo account, told me to send $1 to make sure it worked, then to send him the rest of the money. I refused, and asked for the company Venmo. It took almost a week of emails and phone calls to the company (all the numbers are cell phones, some of which don’t have voicemail), and we were finally given the company Venmo. We were told it would take 7-10 business days from now (Feb 28) for our things to arrive (originally it was 3-5 days from pickup on the 17th).

• It took 35 days for my things to arrive instead of the 3-5 days we were quoted (they are contracted to deliver within 30 days). At 11 am on Friday, March 17th, one hour before the truck was scheduled to arrive, I received a text saying the truck had broken down in Pittsburgh and may not arrive until Monday. When it arrived Monday, we found out from the drivers this was a lie; they didn’t leave NJ until Sunday night and never broke down. We also measured the amount of space we took up in the truck; 1023 cu ft, not 1800. They knowingly overcharged us by almost $3000. They lost several things including a queen-sized Tempurpedic mattress and boxspring. We requested arbitration and they refuse to respond, which is a violation of the FMSCA guidelines.

Please avoid this company at all costs! They are unprofessional, dishonest and incompetent.

I was robbed!!!!! This company scammed me out of money and then allowed for their hired drivers to steal, but in their words, they only lost 7 out of 10 boxes. I would never trust them again to move. Keep your sanity and don't hire this company. I've never felt so violated in my life without any care or regard. I had to wait nearly a month for my items to arrive when at most the drive should have taken two weeks (and I'm being generous). Also, just to let people know I was moving from Michigan to Arizona. One of my boxes were clearly rifled through and no one could give a clear and responsible explanation to why this occurred. I would never trust them again. I would rather build my own business from scratch then give these greedy, slimy, unaccountable, mover pigs another dollar. NEVER LET THEM ROPE YOU IN, ALL THESE PEOPLE DO IS LIE.

I was blown away with A&M Movers bc they are the polar opposite of what you hear about many moving businesses. They disassembled & loaded my furniture on the day & at the time they says they would. It got to my new house in 1 wk! Mo & the drivers were excellent at lmk what was going on. Employees were friendly efficient & careful. I was impressed with MO’s ethics. I was fairly certain but not 100% sure I had paid half of a charge on the day my stuff was moved out. Mo gave me the benefit of the doubt. Who does that these days? It speaks volumes to his character. I have heard nightmares from friends about their moves but I was lucky bc I used A&M Movers. Ty ty ty!!!

PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING TO BOOK! If I could leave a negative star review I would. I moved from Dallas, Texas to the Grand Rapids area in Michigan and they left my stuff in a storage unit in Dallas right after it was loaded and wouldn't put it back on a truck until I paid them more. Then they took my stuff to Iowa (???) and left it there for a day for whatever reason. THEN when they finally arrived in Michigan, they hired two random people off of Craigslist to help unload my stuff because they were so unprepared. Thankfully these two people were actually nice but how is this allowed??? The driver did not do a single thing except demand more money and unloaded nothing. He demanded I send him a Zelle (for over 2000), directly to HIS bank account, before he would unlock the truck. Luckily BofA was able to reverse this charge later when I told them the situation. Absolutely ridiculous, so unprofessional and a complete scam. Shocked I even got any of my belongings. How is this place still in business??? Original quote was 6000 to move my furniture from my 1 bedroom apt -- but they continued to add more charges.

Worst movers EVER!!! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! They moved us from Corpus Christi and didn't have a big enough truck. Their guy said he was going to put our stuff in storage and send another truck down to get it the next day. Now they can't find it. Suddenly the employee is fired and they don't know the storage unit. They won't tell us where $22k worth of our stuff is. Call the cops, they won't help. These guys are stealing your stuff! DO NOT TRUST THEM! I lost my kids baby pictures! My outdoor patio set. My Mom's (who passed) pictures. Irreplaceable family heirlooms. These guys are criminals!!!! DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR FAMILY'S valuables!!!!! ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!

I do not recommend this company. At all.

Go for PODS or U-Pack and hire local movers on both sides of the move.

That is my recommendation. Save yourself the hassle.

Here is how this company gets you:

- A&M Moving employs what they describe as a "booking agent" called Moving and Relo LLC (A&M Moving claims that Moving and Relo LLC is not a broker, because I did not want a broker, but it acts just like a broker, as you will see).

- It is likely that you will get contacted first by Moving and Relo LLC so they can quote you. I talked to a person named Henry. Moving and Relo LLC will push you hard for a "binding deposit".

- Moving and Relo LLC operates out of New Jersey and they are not local. Pay attention to your Caller ID when they call you back.

- Moving and Relo LLC will take an inventory list, but they will not get any dimensions from you on your items. Moving and Relo LLC pretends like the inventory list is what is important the whole time, but what is ACTUALLY important is the VOLUME that they reserve for you in the truck (not the weight either). At no time did A&M Moving attempt to actually figure out the actual volume of my items before their truck arrived.

- Because Moving and Relo LLC does not get any dimensions from you, this allows them to intentionally underbid on the truck volume. Because they intentionally underbid the volume, they SEEM very competitive with PODS and U-Pack. But it is a ploy.

- When the actual truck arrives during moving day, you will not have enough volume in the truck reserved and they will double the price per volume on you right at your door. Now you are stuck in their trap. These ransom up-charges will effectively double the cost of your move. I did not elect to pay much in these ransom up-charges, but I also forced to leave behind several thousand dollars worth of inventory.

- Moving and Relo LLC then basically ghosts you. You will not be able to get anyone on the phone after you give them a binding deposit. The owner of A&M Moving (someone named "Mo") will act like Moving and Relo LLC is not their problem either, even though A&M Moving is their customer because A&M Moving hired them.

- During transit and drop-off the whole thing was a mess. There is little visibility on anything that is happening with your items and they employ various subcontractors that all take different forms of payment and have different communication strategies. You will spend a ton of time managing the logistics yourself.

- Several boxes of our items were repacked sometime after they were taken which complicates your ability to audit your items at drop-off.

- They essentially force you to sign various contracts along the way or else they will not transport your items or get them off the truck at the drop-off address.

What a mess.

I used A&M Moving to move from Texas to Michigan in October 2022.

Go with PODS or U-Pack. It is a little more work on each end, but your life will be MUCH easier. If you are moving to an apartment, PODS and U-Pack often offer free storage for a month so you can have local movers pick up your items at the drop-off address on your schedule.

WORST MOVE OF MY LIFE. Before you even THINK about consenting to embarking on the horrific experience that is being bound by a contract to A&M Moving Services or their parent company EZEE Moving and Storage LLC, do yourself a favor and read the reviews and comments on the Better Business Bureau website to find dozens of carbon copy experiences that these people have been dishing out to people across the country. These Google reviews persuaded me to give them the benefit of the doubt, and I hope my review can dissuade anyone who is foolish enough to consent to this abuse. My personal experience in booking a move from Austin to Atlanta started with the initial sales person being helpful and communicative, overall being very professional and reassuring that this is a good decision. Exact words were “this will be the easiest move of your life”. Once you sign the contract and pay the initial deposit, they will block your number and force you to deal with Mahmoud and Ahmed who are the dispatch team. They are uncommunicative and unprofessional and will blame you or their crew consistently for any hiccups in this process. The move ended up costing approx 2x what was initially quoted, multiple large pieces of furniture missing or damaged, fragile boxes upside down and stacked underneath heavy boxes ( clearly marked mind you, almost comical if it wasn’t our things being actively destroyed ). The real kicker in this experience was the delivery in which the driver arrived 5 hours after he said he would, at 10:30 pm on a Saturday night. They left by 12:30am with multiple boxes left outside in rain ( for us to discover the next day!! ) large table left disassembled and house left in disarray. During the two hours, Ahmed had multiple crew members walk off over money and time disputes. In the aftermath, their parting gift is their claims process which is intentionally designed with the hope that you never will get any reparations. I wouldn’t wish these grifters on anyone, so if anyone reads this, please do yourself a favor and go with literally any other company!!!!

Moving across state lines seemed daunting, but David and his team put my worries to rest. Disassembling the gym equipment was a breeze for them. The artwork received special attention, with each piece individually wrapped and packed in custom crates. The team's communication throughout the journey kept me at ease, and upon arrival, they assembled the gym and carefully positioned the artwork. Carter and his team's dedication to the safety of my possessions was evident throughout the process.

I had a terrible experience with a moving company last year, so I hesitated to hire anyone this time. But I'm so glad I went with A&M Moving Services. These guys were the complete opposite of my last movers. They were courteous and punctual. They showed up on time and got right to work. They cared for everything, from packing my fragile items to disassembling my bed. They even helped me throw out some old furniture I didn't want to bring. They were careful with my stuff and ensured nothing got damaged during the move. I was impressed with their attention to detail. These guys know what they're doing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable moving company.
